Actos and weight started using Humulin insulin in the mid's and then I started gaining weight. I had never been overweight prior to actos and weight gain 3 days time. I gained 57 pounds and was trying so hard to lose. I managed to lose 20 pounds.

Kate really hit it on the head. If you didn't see gain effects with the Avandia then you most likely won't see adverse effects on the Actos.
Of course though with any new med be cautious and pay attention to your body while you are adjusting. You'll know if something isn't right. Until you have that feeling though I wouldn't get to concerned yet.
I gained pounds on Actos before I said enough to my Endo and told him I wanted to be taken off. I was also retaining fluids, even though I was prescribed a "water pill".
I also was constantly tired but didn't make the connection to that and the Actos until I stopped taking the Actos and my energy level went back to actos and weight gain 3 days. I would suggest, if you continue on the Actos, to consult with a nutritionist so that they can help you eat properly as to not gain weight while on the medication.

I am a type two diabetic and my doctor have me on 3 different medications my numbers run any where from 89 to on a good day with and without my medications. What is a normal range? I have been on these 3 meds for approximately 1 year now.
